Privacy Policy

The short version

Your WhatsApp chat file is parsed entirely in your browser. It never touches our servers. We store only what you explicitly choose to publish, and you can delete that at any time.

What we do not collect

• Your raw WhatsApp chat file or any of its messages
• Contact names or phone numbers from your chat
• Any data you do not explicitly choose to publish

What we store (if you publish)

If you choose to create a shareable wrap, we store only the curated cards you selected — the stats, emoji counts, and moments you chose to include. We do not store the underlying messages that those cards were derived from.

Shared wraps are stored in our database (Supabase, hosted in the EU). You can delete your shared wrap at any time from the dashboard — the link 404s instantly and the data is wiped.

Analytics

We use basic, privacy-respecting analytics to understand which features are used. No personally identifiable information is collected. We do not use advertising trackers.

Cookies

We use a minimal session cookie only if you publish a wrap (to associate the wrap with your browser so you can delete it later). We do not use tracking or advertising cookies.

Third-party services

• Vercel — hosting and global CDN
• Supabase — database for published wraps (EU region)
• Razorpay — payment processing for printed keepsakes (if ordered)

Each of these processes data only as necessary to deliver the service.

Your rights

You can delete any published wrap instantly from the dashboard. To request deletion of any other data, or if you have any questions, email us at info@bubblewrapped.co.

Changes to this policy

If we make material changes, we'll update the date at the top of this page. Continued use of bubble.wrapped after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
